02 / A NEIGHBORHOOD ORIGINAL
SMALL SHOP.BIG PLACE IN OUR CITY.

A familiar favorite, one slice at a time.
A little pizza shop.
A lot of heart.
Gino Milano got the keys in 1996. Loren Manser helped build the place and delivered pizzas before learning his way around the kitchen. Around 2005, Loren and his partner Julia Brown took over the day-to-day running of the shop.
The dough, bread and sauces are made daily. The pizzas are thin and round, and the welcome is still old-school: familiar faces, neighborhood regulars and a little shop that feels part of downtown. Come for a slice, a panini or your usual order. Gino’s keeps the good stuff simple, right here on Figueroa.
